While almond blossom season is a synonym to the arrival of Spring and infusion of warmth back in the air. Almond harvest on the other hand has been an overwhelming time for famers, mainly because of their inability to harvest, sun-dry, and hull and shell their crops in time to keep it fresh and protect it from infestations. This not only cost the farmers time and effort, but also hindered their ability, and willingness, to expand their farms.

We at Canaan noticed this challenge and responded by installing the first automated almond hulling and shelling line in the Middle East. This machinery allowed the farmers to focus on their farms, expanding it, and caring for it to increase quality and yield.
